TD Waterhouse Private Client Group

The Private Client Group (PCG) provides the highest level of tailored advice and integrated wealth management solutions. PCG's goal is to help clients and their families develop integrated, comprehensive and customized financial solutions. At all times, the exceptional team of banking, estate planning, trust and investment professionals work together with various wealth partners to help our clients create wealth, preserve and protect it, and pass it on to the generations that follow.

Members of TD Waterhouse Private Client Group include: Private Banking, Private Trust, Private Investment Counsel, and Private Client Service centres.

Roles:

Portfolio Manager

Responsible for maintaining and growing the client base and determining the appropriate portfolio structure for clients' asset mix, geographic/currency diversification, and equity and fixed income styles.

Trust Officer

The position is responsible for the management of a group of estate and trust accounts involving professional practice and the exercise of judgment in discretionary matters and supervision of tax, investment and administrative services provided by other areas of the Company. The role includes establishing and maintaining relationships with clients (beneficiaries and cotrustees).

Private Banker

The Private Banker (PB) works primarily as a member of the Private Investment Advisor's team to service the day to day banking needs of High Net Worth PIA clients. Additionally, the Private Banker is responsible for building his or her own book of business from external sources. The Private Banker will partner with these clients to develop forward looking financial plans and, will ensure plans are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect changing circumstances.

Senior Private Banker

The Senior Private Banker (SPB) partners with High Net Worth and High Potential clientele to develop forward looking financial plans in the context of a comprehensive understanding of their life goals and risk tolerance. The SPB is also responsible for ensuring regular reviews of financial performance and updating to reflect changing circumstances. Additionally, with the help of an associate, the SPB will ensure a high touch response to the day to day banking needs of his or her clients.

Wealth Advisor

The Private Client Wealth Advisor (PCWA) represents the TD Wealth Management brand in the High Net Worth Segment. He or she partners with High Net Worth Individuals and Families to develop forward looking financial plans in the context of a comprehensive understanding of their life goals and risk tolerance. The PCWA is also responsible for ensuring regular reviews of strategy performance and updating the plan to reflect changing circumstances. Additionally, with the help of an associate, the PCWA will ensure a high touch response to the day to day banking needs of his or her clients.

Private Account Executive

The role of the Private Account Executive involves educating TD Canada Trust Retail Branch staff on the Private Client Group offering and coaching retail staff in identifying potential referral opportunities. The Private Account Executive will meet with prospective clients and perform a comprehensive wealth planning diagnostic, engaging the necessary professionals from within the TDW PCS centres to provide solutions that meet the financial needs of clients.
